Love Thy Crate

TL; DR: I love my crate. Yup, nothing more to read here unless you want the skinny on why. In that case…

Enter my story….I own all 3 available sizes of this crate: Small (24”), Medium (30”) and Large (36”) and could not be a bigger fan. I’ve used the pad it comes with and have also used my own crate pad/bed - both options have worked for me and my cuddle buddies Owl (who I hope is okay - poor guy went missing a while back), Llama, and occasionally my Ugly Doll.

My Favorite Features:

  • The mesh panels on the sides and top can be unzipped and opened giving me “private cabana” vibes…

  • When zipped closed the panels still allow great ventilation and I can then convert my “cabana” into my own cocoon and safe space

  • Set up is super easy and quick. If putting things together isn’t your forte, this crate is for you

  • Portability. Whether it’s time to get away from your human(s) and head over to your BFF’s house for the weekend, or are out for a picnic in the park, this crate folds into a flat position and comes with its own carrying case.

Sizing recommendation: Buy the crate based on your pup’s expected full grown adult size.

  • Small (24”): I utilized this crate up until I was 3 months old and about 10 pounds.

  • Medium (30”): this worked well for me until about 7 months of age. I now use this crate only to lounge in, and keep all of the panels open

  • Large (36”): at 8 months old and 16 pounds this is my sleeping crate! It provides the most room and clearance for me to fully stretch my legs (I like to lay upside down a lot), as well as stand up, turn, and move around – even enough space should I grow a little more. I also like to voluntarily lounge in there and convene with my crew of plush toys.
